Clear Spiral was born from a simple question, is it possible to have clean filtered water that retains beneficial minerals but removes contaminants such as forever chemicals and microplastics.
"Having spent the last decade working in clinical practice as a nutritionist, I've seen firsthand how important clean, high-quality water can be for long-term health. Yet I was continually frustrated by the choice available: systems that removed beneficial minerals alongside contaminants, or systems that simply didn't go far enough. I founded Clear Spiral to bridge that gap. The goal was simple - create a filtration system that removes the contaminants we don't want, including PFAS, VOCs, microplastics and heavy metals, while preserving naturally occurring minerals such as calcium and magnesium. That balance between purity and preservation is the principle Clear Spiral was built on."

Sustainability & Sourcing
Clear Spiral is built around material integrity and responsible sourcing. Our systems use stainless steel housings instead of plastic casings, eliminating a major source of long-term environmental waste while improving durability and product lifespan. The filtration cartridges are engineered to use up to 90% less plastic than conventional reverse osmosis systems, significantly reducing material throughput without compromising performance. Every component is selected with lifecycle impact in mind, prioritising recyclability, longevity, and minimal environmental burden.
We also address sustainability at the system level. Unlike reverse osmosis, Clear Spiral does not waste water during filtration, making it inherently more resource-efficient in daily use. From production to delivery, we maintain tight control over our footprint by designing, building, and shipping all units within the United Kingdom. Packaging is kept intentionally low-impact, using biodegradable void fillers instead of plastic-based alternatives, ensuring that the environmental cost of protecting the product does not outweigh its purpose.
Purity Without Compromise
Most filtration brands take one of two approaches: remove everything from the water, or remove almost nothing. Neither is good enough. Reverse osmosis systems strip water of its minerals, leaving it flat and lifeless. Basic jug filters barely scratch the surface.
Clear Spiral takes a different path. Our 6-stage spiral cartridge uses a 0.05 micron precision membrane alongside activated carbon and ion exchange media. This combination targets harmful contaminants chlorine, PFAS, lead, mercury, pesticides, and microplastics while allowing beneficial minerals like calcium and magnesium to pass through naturally.
